When Existential Crisis Kicks in... (2)

  The mall was a fifteen-minute walk away from our place. We started... I felt so pessimistic about who I am - Someone who just goes to school everyday; preaches a bunch of incorrigible kids; receives salary at the end of every month not showing any visible progress over the years.  The questions popped up in a continuous loop.  "Does this work really have a purpose?" "Am I just leading a cliched life?" "Is it a pointless rat race?"   It seemed to weigh me down. But of course, the moment I stepped down on to the street, my thoughts started to drift away. The hustles and bustles of the evening, the kaleidoscopic park filled with cute little kids running helter skelter; the Pizza Hut men carrying hefty packages, presumably for someone's weekend party;  men and women of chiselled physique running with their sipper bottles. When Existential Crisis Kicks in...

  Yesterday, I was scrolling through my Insta profile, I got a notification that I had been tagged to a post. Recently, I got an offer from an enthusiastic designer to get my blogpost posted on her Insta profile, with a creative cover page. I gladly accepted and hence, she had tagged me.  When I opened, the cover page was of vintage look. I couldn't help but revisited my blog to re-read (or to relive) my words of musings.  When I was reading the posts one by one, I received another notification from Insta. This time it was a message from an old student. "Ma'am, have you published a book too?", It read.  "Oops.. no. It was a cover page designed for one of my blog posts. I haven't published any book.", I wrote awkwardly. More than embarrassment, I felt a sharp prick rereading the message.
